Here we have a long distance signal booster installation in Namibia using ingenuity, an Amplitec C20L-Tri-Band repeater to achieve what most people can not – cell phone signal in the desert.

Ingo makes use of ½” or
LMR600 for the long runs reducing attenuation to the minimum thus making it
possible to use a 20dBm repeater. A 230Watt solar panel, a 15Amp MPPT charge controller ensures that the battery stays charged. All Amplitec were designed for Africa wrt adapting 12Vdc power adapters. A simple power cable replaces the power adapter. Making a solar installation easy.
